CONSUMPTION RECOMMENDATION
Sprinkle 1-2 slightly heaped teaspoons (this corresponds to approx. 5-10 g) daily over a meal or stir into a smoothie. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Mushrooms - the very special creatures
Mushrooms usually thrive in the shade of forests. From a biological point of view, they are neither plants nor animals. This alone distinguishes them as something special. Mushrooms grow on the ground, but also on trees, such as the chaga mushroom. Some medicinal mushrooms have been used for over 1000 years and therefore have an ancient folk tradition, especially in East Asian countries such as China and Japan, but also in Tibet and northern Europe, for example. Their special properties were recognized early on and they were used according to observations and positive effects.
Shiitake mushroom
The shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes) is one of the most widely cultivated edible mushrooms. It grows wild in the forests of Japan and has been highly valued there for thousands of years for its special properties. The mushrooms on the market today usually come from farms.
Maitake mushroom
The maitake mushroom (Grifola frondosa) can also be found growing wild in north-eastern Japan, in the temperate forest zones of Asia, Europe and eastern North America. Reishi mushroom
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), also known as the glowing lacquer mushroom, is widely used, particularly in East Asia. There is now a lot of evidence in the specialist literature for the particular effectiveness of this mushroom, but many of the chemical substances apparently responsible for this are still unknown.
Chaga mushroom
The Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus), also known as the slaty slipper mushroom, also has an ancient tradition and is found in mountain forests in northern and eastern Europe and Asia. The up to 40 cm wide black tubers usually form on birch trees. It is now known that chaga has over 200 active biological substances. Various polyphenols and particularly oxygen-containing triterpenes have been identified as ingredients, as well as polysaccharides.
Cordyceps sinensis mushroom
Cordyceps sinensis, also known as the Chinese or Tibetan caterpillar fungus, is one of the most expensive and sought-after mushrooms in the world and has a tradition dating back at least 1000 years. The mushroom contains the special ingredient cordycepin and the important polysaccharides.
